A 50-year legacy of eye care in Charlottesville.
Founded in 1976, Charlottesville Eye Associates is a private ophthalmology and optometry practice serving patients across central Virginia. Five decades in one community has built something rare in modern medicine: multi-generational relationships with the families we care for.
Our six providers cover the full spectrum of adult eye care — from comprehensive exams and contact lens fittings to fellowship-level cataract, glaucoma, and cornea surgery. Procedures are performed at UVA Surgical Care Riverside, with an on-site optical shop for glasses and lens fittings at our Pantops office.
